Salon System with Mimi Wade at London Fashion Week
Salon System collaborated with session nail expert, Karen Louise backstage at the Mimi Wade AW20 show for London Fashion Week. Mimi Wade showcased her first solo show and teamed up with Warner Bros to design a collection drawing inspiration from the new hit film, Birds of Prey: and The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn.
Working backstage with her team, Karen Louise's brief was to create looks using strong, bold colours that would stand out against the heavy prints in the collection - Red, Blue and Grey nail colours complimented the designs perfectly.

"For fast application and removal backstage, I used coffin shaped press on nails painted with GELLUX Secret Service (blue). GELLUX Guess Who (red) and GELLUX 9 till 5 (grey) then the nails were finished with the GELLUX Mirror Glaze Topcoat to give a high shine finish. My backstage hero was the GELLUX Nail Guards, which I used on the model's natural nails to ensure an even base for press on nails", explains Karen Louise.
