Chetan’s Advice: “Stay curious and keep showing up for yourself and your team. Your growth is tied to how much you’re willing to learn, share and evolve – both as an artist and a human.”

Monday – Reset & Refocus

Mondays are all about intention. I start the day with admin, mapping out the week’s goals for the team, and setting creative direction.

I’m usually deep into mood boards and concept planning – especially now, as I prep for the Wella Professionals Next Gen shoot. Creative days like this often stretch into the evening, but that’s the flow I thrive in. When I get the chance, I spend the afternoon reflecting on the bigger picture – what we’re building and how we’re showing up as a brand.

Tuesday – Train, Create, Repeat

We kick off at 10am with team training – today it’s focused on colour theory and cutting techniques. Post-training, I dive into content creation. I shoot a transformation reel, post to socials, and plan content for an upcoming colour class. It’s a full day, packed with movement and ideas – the kind of energy I live for.

Wednesday – On the Floor, In the Flow

It’s a client day and the salon is buzzing. I’m behind the chair doing what I love – blondes, brunettes, and everything in between. There’s something deeply grounding about being hands-on, in flow with your craft, and seeing clients light up when they leave the chair.

Thursday – Balance & Behind the Scenes

Thursday is a hybrid – part meetings, part clients. I meet with our social team to review campaigns and analytics, then switch gears back to the floor. One client is prepping for a major event, and another is here for a full bronde transformation. I make it a point to capture behind-the-scenes moments to keep our content authentic and engaging.

Friday – Fast, Fun & Focused

Fridays are high-energy with back-to-back appointments – blowouts, glosses, and pre-weekend glam. It’s also my day to check in with the team: how’s everyone tracking? Do they feel supported? I make sure the vibe is strong going into the weekend.

Saturday – Creative Rituals

Saturday starts slow – coffee with my wife, a quick meditation, and a light run to reset. Later, I’m usually back in the salon for content shoots or creative collabs with other artists. Saturdays feel different – a bit more laid-back, more reflective, and perfect for creative play.

Sunday – Recharge Mode

Sunday is sacred. Zero pressure. It’s Netflix, couch time, and intentional rest. I use the space to reflect, practice gratitude, and get inspired for what’s ahead.

Final Thoughts

No two weeks ever look the same – but what stays constant is the passion. Whether I’m behind the chair, leading my team, or creating for the industry, I show up with purpose and pride. That’s what keeps this career exciting, rewarding, and full of endless possibility.
