Nailing it!
With party season so near, it’s time to ensure that you’ve not only got the right tools – thanks to us – but also that you’re clued up on the latest looks. A great way to keep ahead of trends is to check out blogs and vlogs (YouTube videos are a great source of inspiration!) so we’ve picked three of the best when it comes to nails.Chalkboardnails.com
This is a blog that’s made it to the big time; ChalkboardNails has been seen on the likes of the US Today Show and in many glossy magazines, but Sarah (the woman behind the site) has a down to earth approach. She says she’s ‘just a gal who loves doing her nails!’ and while she’s not necessarily a pro working backstage at shows or on shoots, she is someone who is constantly experimenting with shades, brands and techniques.
Missladyfinger.com
Also known as Taryn Multack, Miss Lady Finger is a nail art blog by a fashion designer, which means she’s entirely switched on when it comes to the seasonal trends. Taryn is a self-taught nail artist who loves to create work directly inspired by fashion, so on her site you’ll see a catwalk collection image and Taryn’s nail version of it and how she did it!
Fleuryrosenails.com
A painter and illustrator, Fleury Rose launched her nail blog due to huge demand from her nail clients. A pro working in New York, her work has been seen online at Vogue Italia, Teen Vogue and Paper magazine and in 2014, she was named in the top 100 of creative people in business by Fast Company magazine! Head to the editorial section of her site and you’ll see how she’s made such a name for herself.
If you fancy brushing up your own nail art skills, why not check out our training section?
