Le Hair Bronzing with L'Oreal Professionnel

If you enjoy keeping up-to-date on hair and beauty trends, you will probably already know about this summer's new hair colour trend...Bronzing! Here we are going to break down the trend, give you some inspiration and share all the tips you need for recreating the look on your clients' hair.

All about Le Hair Bronzing
Like its make-up equivalent, hair bronzing is all about carefully selecting sections of hair to colour around the face helping to achieve an overall brighter look. This healthy-looking glow brings an element of radiance to the face and helps the complexion look softer in the same way as a make-up bronzer.
Hair bronzing is for everyone, from  blondes to brunettes and in-between! While blondes can get a golden glow with a few blended bronze tones, brunettes can also have a sun kissed look by applying subtle lighter contrasts.

Discover the perfect bronze colour palette
Unlock your creativity using the L'Oréal Professionnel Bronzing palette, with eight new shades to help you create the perfect look for summer.

Unlike classic colours, this new palette has been boosted with reflect to create a natural-looking result with a unique shine. Each of the bronzing shades have been formulated with specific levels of depth in mind, making them suitable for light, medium or dark bases.

How to do hair bronzing
In 2019 L'Oréal Professionnel introduced its new signature 'La French', a unique set of 2-tone applications that allow you to create a multi-tonal yet natural-looking finish whoever the client. You too can create your own bronzing looks taking application inspiration from 'La French.'

Firstly, let's look at how to create a summer Rose Bronze shade using a La French service by L'Oréal Professionnel...

Hair stylist Emma Beveridge (Trevor Sorbie) uses a free-hand balayage technique to apply INOA .23 along with Smartbond to a natural base. She paints the colour along the surface of the back section (not underneath). For the front section, she focuses on the areas where sunlight would naturally hit, framing the contours of the face. The result is a stunning multi-tonal light brunette shade with subtle bronze and rose shimmer.

Now for a more dramatic change, with a gorgeous Opal Blonde look...
