Hair trends we can't wait for!
Yes, we’re in the thick of Summer, but there are a few hair trends we can’t wait until Autumn for!Knots
For those clients who have kept their longer lengths throughout the Summer, a knot is the perfect way to keep hair out of the way, and it’s a sophisticated, stylish look for special nights out. Seen on the catwalks of Isabel Marant and Veronique Leroy, essential styling products for this look are hairspray and volumising products such as TIGI Bed Head Small Talk, depending on the thickness of your clients’ hair. A knot would also make a great bridal look, as it lends itself well to the addition of floral accessories that can simply be tucked into the knot.

Low ponytails
Another one for those with long hair, the low ponytail comes in a variety of guises this Autumn. Clients with wavy hair or those who like a beachy look, can opt for a textured ponytail that is secured very near to the bottom of the hair. Others who prefer a super straight look, should try securing the ponytail at the nape of the neck for an elegant catwalk style. The essential products for this look? A salt spray such as OSiS+ Session Label Salt Spray for a more textured look, and a slick gel (try IQ Super Gel Spray) for those who prefer their hair worn poker straight.

Waves
Wavy looks tend to be more popular during the Summer months as they lend themselves to beach-like texture, but Autumn sees its fair share of waves too. While side partings can work, this look works best with a middle parting, allowing for even more movement. Essentials for this look include your favourite tool for adding waves (our personal favourite is the Diva Intelligent Digital Tong 45mm), plus heat protection spray and volumising mousse.
