2019 Nail Trends with The Manicure Company
2018 was a great year for nail trends. We saw Jelly nails, Orbit nails, Metallic nails and 3D nail art just to name a few, but 2019 will not disappoint either. Expect to see an array of colours, textures and prints, but with a more refined approach. Think gold accent lines and subtle animal prints along with block colours or brightly coloured tips paired with a nude colour. No matter which trend you want to try out, The Manicure Company have got all the colours your need to create them!
Graphic Print
Graphic Prints are a fun way to add some creativity to nails. Animal prints will be a sure favourite along with monochrome geometric. Use True White and Black Out to achieve your creations and top it with the No Wipe Express Top Coat for a quick finish.
Bright tips
Steer away from the traditional French Manicure white tip, this year a brightly coloured tip will be all the rage. Nude nails and bubble-gum print were sported at the Jeremy Scott fashion show and Cosmopolitan suggested that slime green colours will be a new favourite so why not try Lime Time or Garden Party for your first set!
Living Coral
Coral colours will feature EVERYWHERE after Pantone announced Living Coral as its colour of the year. This colour will be perfect year round to brighten up any day and The Manicure Company’s Vay Kay or Figi shades are spot on.
Yellows
Mustard yellow surfaced everywhere last year, and will be sticking around this year along with more electric and neon variations. Perfect for nail art, or simply as an all over block colour yellows add a bit of sunshine to your nails. Try Electric Lemon on darker skin tones for a cool look or keep an eye out for the new collection’s Lemon Drizzle, a gorgeous pastel yellow perfect for spring.
Darks
Lastly, dark shades featured a lot on the catwalks and these are a must to have in your collection year round! We love to pair The Manicure Company’s Black River and Black Orchid with the Matte Top Coat for a gorgeous velvet finish.
