The end of dull hair is here. Dia Color is L’Oréal Professionnel’s ammonia-free, alkaline demi-permanent gloss colour that delivers rich tone-on-tone colour with natural reflects and high shine. Developed as the next generation of Dia Richesse, the cream colour formula provides up to 70% grey coverage and vibrant, true-to-tone results across all hair types and textures.
Formulated with up to 91% natural origin ingredients*, Dia Color delivers up to 3x more shine** with deep caring agents such as shea butter, propanediol, hyaluronic acid and glycerin. The creamy texture allows for easy mixing, smooth application and even colour deposit, with a wide intermixable palette ranging from lightest blondes to deep brunettes, including popular shades such as Dia Color 5.1 (Light Ash Brown), 6 (Dark Blonde) and 6.1 (Dark Ash Blonde). How to Use
- Use Dia Color exclusively with the recommended Dia Activateur.
- In a non-metallic bowl or applicator bottle, mix with a 1:1.5 ratio (60ml Dia Color colouring cream + 90ml of Dia Activateur).
- Apply on dry hair. For first application, allow 20min development time (starting from the end of the application).
- For regrowth touch-up, apply on the regrowth area and allow 20min development time. Then:
- Take through immediately to revive colour with deeper result and/or darken.
- Take through after 10min, when lengths & ends are moderately faded.
- Take through for the last 5 minutes, when colour is slightly faded.
- Emulsify gently, rinse thoroughly and shampoo with Metal Detox shampoo.
Professional Tips
- Wear suitable disposable gloves.
- Do not use metallic tools (bowl, comb, etc.)
- For quick application, use the Dia Color application bottle.
- Use 6 volume Dia Activateur for a more natural result and softer colour deposit.
- Clear shade can be used to dilute any shade by increasing transparency.

Which Dia Activateur should I use with Dia Color?
The ideal developer strength depends on your desired result:
- 6 vol (1.8%): For soft tone-on-tone colour deposit
- 9 vol (2.7%): For standard tone-on-tone colour and maintenance
- 15 vol (4.5%): For strong colour deposit and optimal grey blending. For up to 1 level of lift.
