Role Profile

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Senior Ecommerce Assistant to join our small friendly team at our Head Office, which is based just on the outskirts of Brighton. Reporting to the Ecommerce Manager, you’ll be working within our ecommerce team ensuring product data and information across all company online platforms is accurate, optimised for search engine visibility and issues affecting user experience are minimised. Other duties include:

  • Implementing new product launches and setting up promotions
  • Create and maintain landing pages, optimising to target specific keywords
  • Supporting the Ecommerce Executive with website developments
  • Utilise SEMRush and other tools to identify issues impacting search engine visibility
  • Provide insights and suggestions based on user behaviour and sales analysis
  • Optimising category structure to ensure visibility of products

This list isn’t exhaustive and we expect you to be a team player who will get involved in other elements of the business if required.

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • 1 - 2 years’ experience working in an ecommerce environment is essential
  • Experienced in the use of Google Analytics (ideally GA4 certified)
  • Experience of optimising for search engines, both on-page content and technical (ideally SEMRush or similar tools)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Great problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS
