Timings

Course/Seminar Length: 2 days, 6 hours each day, including a lunch break

Course/Seminar time: 10am- 4pm* each day. * Finish times may vary depending on knowledge and number of participants.

Course Details

This exclusive course includes theory, step by step demonstrations by tutor, student practical’s and includes full, intensively informative manuals for each treatment with ‘cheat sheet’ step by step guides for quick, easy reference.  Treatments you will learn:

Day 1

Dermaplaning and Enzymatic Peel

Day 2

Micro-needling (using a dermapen), Cryo Cube Therapy, Acupressure Facial Massage, LED Light Therapy.

Skill level

Nationally recognised level 2 in beauty (NVQ/VTCT/ITEC) or hold a UK accredited certificate in Facials and Anatomy & Physiology

Additional Information

  • Students must be over 18 years. Students will be working on each other – no models required. Ensure you have no contra-indications to the treatment. If you can’t have the treatment due to medical reasons you can bring a model at 10.30am on both days, but store must be informed prior to course 
  • Upon completion, students will receive their Course Accreditation e-certificate, manuals, supporting material and be invited to join Face Forward Student Support Facebook Forum

It is advised that students contact their insurance company for entry requirements needed to be covered as stated on Capitals website. It is strongly recommended students check with their Insurance Provider if they accept 'Course Accreditation (which is UK based) certificates. This course is insurable by Insync and ABT. Proof of qualifications must be seen before attending course

Treatment Description

Dermaplaning:  Using an exfoliating blade to remove the surface layer of skin (dead cells) to promote healthy, glowing skin, enabling skin to function properly and absorb products applied, as well as improving scars, fine lines, sun-damage and blemishes, with the added benefit of removing the velus hair (peach fuzz) allowing make up to glide on smoothly. 

Enzymatic Peel:  A natural enzymatic peeling gel which is totally particle­ and pain-­free which visibly removes dead skin cells to reveal brighter, youthful skin.

Micro-needling (using a dermapen):  A non-surgical cosmetic treatment that involves creating micro pricks to the skin helping regenerate natural collagen and elastin production, reduces fine lines, scar tissue and blemishes.  With the additional use of serums these deliver a cocktail of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids directly into the skin to nourish, rejuvenate and tighten the skin.

Cryo-Cube Therapy:  A therapeutic and relaxing treatment using ice cold stainless steel ‘cubes’ to soothe the skin, help reduce puffiness under eyes, minimises inflammation, helps lymphatic drainage and relieves sinus pressure.
